Desolate Quarters
An ongoing collection of subjects in their ever-changing surroundings that are often overlooked or otherwise misinterpreted due to their state of being. As time passes, our subjects will never be in the same state as the last time we witnessed them, and this mindset has shown me the significance of documenting our surroundings while we can. The world is ever-changing, and we’ll never truly know when the last time we’ll see something is. This body of work is the act of preserving these subjects in their current state, all the while displaying how the human hand has shaped the surrounding landscape in the present day.
